ANAAD Consultants LLP (operating as ANAAD Worldwide) is firmly committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of every individual whose personal data we hold. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we store and protect it, with whom we share it, and the rights available to you.

This Policy applies to all users of www.anaadworldwide.com and all individuals who engage with our services, whether online or at our office in New Delhi.

2.3  Personal Data We Collect

• Identity & Travel Documents

• Full name, date of birth, gender, nationality

• Parents’ / guardian’s names and contact information

• Photograph (for application purposes)

• Scanned copies of passport (front and back pages), visa documents

Contact Information

• Mobile number, email address, residential and correspondence address

• Social media profiles (if shared voluntarily)

Academic Information

• School and college marksheets, transcripts, certificates, and degree documents (scanned copies)

• Entrance and language test scores (IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, GRE, GMAT, etc.)

• Statement of Purpose (SOP), letters of recommendation, personal essays

Financial Information (for Visa Purposes)

• Bank statements and financial sponsorship documents

• Income proof and property documents, where required by visa authorities

⚠  Financial documents are collected solely to support visa applications as mandated by the respective embassy or high commission. They are not used for any commercial or credit-assessment purpose.

Sensitive Personal Data

• Medical history or health-related information (if required by a specific institution or visa authority)

• Disability information (if declared and relevant to application requirements)

• Category or community details (if required under specific scholarship or institutional criteria)

⚠  Sensitive personal data is collected only when strictly necessary for the purpose of your application and only with your explicit consent.

Technical & Usage Data

• IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system

• Pages visited, duration, click patterns, and referral source (via Google Analytics – anonymised)

2.4  How We Collect Your Data

We collect personal data through the following channels:

• Email communications between you and our team

• WhatsApp messages and document sharing

• Direct office interactions and offline forms at our New Delhi office

• Calendly appointment bookings and Google Meet sessions

• Documents voluntarily submitted by you or your parent/guardian

We do not collect data through website forms directly. We do not use payment gateways.

2.5  Purpose of Data Processing

We process your personal data strictly for the following purposes:

• Providing personalised study-abroad counselling and profile assessment

• Preparing and submitting university applications on your behalf

• Designing SOPs for university and visa applications (paid service)

• Facilitating visa guidance and supporting visa application documentation

• Coordinating post-arrival services, accommodation, forex, and insurance information

• Conducting test preparation coaching (paid service)

• Internal record-keeping and compliance with applicable law

• Improving our website experience through anonymised analytics

We do not process your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to any third party.

2.6  Data Storage & Security

Where We Store Data

• On office laptops and devices assigned to authorised ANAAD Worldwide employees

• In ANAAD Worldwide’s internal CRM, accessible only on a role-based basis

• On Google Drive linked exclusively to official @anaadworldwide.com email accounts

Security Practices

• Role-based access controls: employees access only the data relevant to their function

• All employees are issued official ANAAD Worldwide email IDs and office devices

• Use of personal email accounts or personal mobile devices for work data is strictly prohibited

• Password protection on all devices and accounts

• Data transmission with students and institutions is conducted over secure, encrypted channels (HTTPS/SSL)

2.7  Data Sharing Policy

ANAAD Worldwide does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any individual, organisation, or third party. Your data is shared externally only in the following specific and consent-driven circumstances:

• Foreign Universities & Institutions: Your academic and identity documents are shared only with institutions to which you have explicitly directed us to apply on your behalf.

• Visa Application Centres / Embassies: Financial, identity, and health documents are submitted only when required by the visa authority of the relevant country, with your knowledge and consent.

• Legal / Regulatory Authorities: Data may be disclosed to competent government bodies, law enforcement, or courts if required by a valid legal order or applicable law.

No data is shared with partner companies, accommodation providers, forex agents, insurance providers, or any other commercial entity without your explicit written consent at the time of sharing.

2.8  Data Retention

We retain your personal data for a maximum period of 3 (three) years from the date of your last active interaction with us. After the completion of your admission process – whether through ANAAD Worldwide or independently – your data becomes operationally inactive and is no longer actively accessed.

On your written request, we will delete or return your documents prior to the 3-year period, unless retention is required by applicable law. Financial and application documents may be retained for longer periods where legally mandated.

2.9  Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023

As a Data Principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights:

• Right of Access: Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you

• Right to Correction & Completion: Request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data

• Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal obligations

• Right to Grievance Redressal: Raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer (Section 7)

• Right to Nominate: Nominate a person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at hello@anaadworldwide.com with the subject “Data Rights Request”. We will respond within 15–45 days depending on the complexity of the request.

2.10  Children’s Privacy

Many of our users are students who may be below 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verified parental consent. For students aged 13–17, we encourage a parent or guardian to review this Privacy Policy and to be present or co-signatory during the initial consultation. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor without appropriate consent, please notify us immediately.

2.11  Target Audience & Jurisdiction

Our Services are designed primarily for students who are residents of India. We are also open to serving students from Indian sub-continent countries (including Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Pakistan) and African nations. All data is processed and stored in India and is subject to Indian law.
